Donna Zellars, founder of DLZ Photography is an up and coming artist who creates art from photography with a cinematic vision. She has honed her photography skills through self-exploration, and courses in photography studies in 35mm Black and White photography and Digital Photography. Donna extensively utilizes Photoshop filters as a way of adding not only another dimension to her artwork, but creating a new medium from photography to digital art. Additionally, she utilizes her photography skills to implement her artwork on mouse pads, coasters, and t-shirts; creating another medium for her artwork.
Donna's work has been exhibited Marlboro Gallery in Largo, MD and collected by individuals throughout the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. She has participated in three Student Juried Art Exhibitions at Prince George’s Community College, for which she won First Place, Second Place and Best in Category in 2007 and 2008. In 2009, she participated in the Bowie-Crofton Camera Club group exhibition at Bowie City Hall. Her work has been published in local publications that include Reflections and Recreation News.
